Early evidence suggests the French have a relaxed approach to dog guests so a dog inclusive holiday in France may be well woth considering.

All three are part of Cefn-Du Holiday Cottages run by experienced dog owners (who developed these cottages using their experience as dog inclusive holiday makers). Choose between Red Kite Cottage, Shetlands Cottage and Swallows Barn (two of which can be combined for a big family holiday with the dogs) and enjoy a holiday in South West Wales.

This huge Victorian house sleeps up to 20 in 8 bedrooms and is situated in a beautiful valley close to the Wye. Hamish visited the area years ago and loved the forest on the east bank and woods on the west - he also watched carefully when we used the 'rowing boat' sized ferry operated by the publicans on either bank. If you have a big dog inclusive family group - or lots of friends - this will be well worth considering.

Woofs and Wellies We have the perfect event for all dog owners! Sponsored 5km dog walk at Hainault Forest, Essex on Sunday 18th April! Dog will receive a special hospice medal, treats and meet new friends along the way! Walking through the beautiful woods and countryside.

Her e mail also says: "I'm organising a sponsored dog 5km walk - as a fundraiser for local charity Saint Francis Hospice. I hope that you may be able to promote it on your website. It would be fantastic if we could advertise it, so more people in this area know about this walk…..as it’s such a lovely walk through woodlands and the countryside, Man’s best friend plays an important role at Saint Francis Hospice. We have regular visits by PAT Dogs (pets as therapy) to our Day Hospice. Many patients, who miss their pets, often get great comfort stroking and patting the PAT dogs. This will be our first sponsored dog walk and its great way to support the hospice."
If you live close enough it sounds like a good idea to us - but you'll need to check the details (because we have taken this at "face value").

One of our dog friendly attractions (days out) advertisers, Sussex Voyages, have passed assessment by Visit Britain as part of their Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme. Sussex Voyages bring you a premier marine experience when it comes to live guided tours of the scenery and wildlife along the Sussex Coast ... and you can take your dog too (maximum of two dogs per voyage). Now this would be a different day out!

Thirteen self catering chalets are available - situated near the cliff edge with sea views to the horizon. Hamish visited Kessingland about a year ago and enjoyed a walk along the cliffs and beach (maybe passing these chalets) and lunch in a local pub. This will be a good location for a family holiday with the dogs.
